Enrollment is quick and available to all TOHEFCU members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is Credit Score?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Credit Score helps you stay on top of your credit by providing your latest credit score and report and understanding key factors that impact the score. It also monitors your credit daily and informs you by email if any significant changes are detected, such as a new account being opened, a change in address, employment, delinquency, or inquiry has been reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I access Credit Score?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Log into Online using the <strong>Log In<\/strong> button at the top of this page or launch your Mobile App. Select <strong>Manage Money<\/strong>, then <strong>Credit Score<\/strong> from the menu. In the mobile app, Credit Score can be found under the <strong>More<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does Credit Score offer Credit Monitoring as well?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. Credit Score will monitor and send email alerts when there has been a change to your credit profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is there a fee for Credit Score?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Credit Score is a <strong>free credit score and monitoring tool<\/strong> available to all TOHEFCU members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will accessing Credit Score \u201cding\u201d my credit and potentially lower my credit score?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Credit Score is a \u201csoft inquiry\u201d which does not affect a credit score. Lenders use \u201chard inquiries\u201d to make decisions about creditworthiness when you apply for loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How often is the credit score updated?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The credit score will be updated every seven days and displayed in mobile and online banking. You can click \u201crefresh score\u201d as often as every day for an updated credit score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if the information provided by Credit Score appears to be wrong or inaccurate?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Credit Score makes its best effort to show the most relevant information from a credit report. If you think some information is wrong or inaccurate, you can obtain a free credit report from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.annualcreditreport.com\">www.annualcreditreport.com<\/a> and then dispute inaccuracies with each bureau individually. Each bureau has its process for correcting inaccurate information, but every TOHEFCU Credit Score user can \u201cFile a Dispute\u201d with TransUnion by clicking the \u201cDispute\u201d link within Credit Score and More. TransUnion will share this with the other bureaus if the inaccuracy is verified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why do credit scores differ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three major credit-reporting bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) and two scoring models (FICO or VantageScore) determine credit scores. Financial institutions use different bureaus, as well as their own scoring models.
